Two words that I feel really describe me are nostalgic and sentimental. I have always loved and cherished old family photographs, even as a small child. I always love looking at the old clothes and hairstyles, how the technology of photography has changed, and how important preserving those memories can be. Sadly, most old photographs are deteriorating at a rapid pace. Oils from fingerprints, acidic paper from destructive photo albums, excessive exposure to sunlight, moisture...all these things contribute to the loss of quality in old photographs. In this age of digital photography, we now have the ability to restore and rescue these precious images! Your image will be handled carefully with lint-free cotton gloves, the same as used in museums to handle valuable artifacts. Using a high resolution scanner, your image will be digitized and carefully and painstakingly restored to its former glory. You will then receive your digital image in high resolution, as well as your original image, unharmed. You may also choose to have prints made of your newly restored image.
